Trabzon Olympic Swimming Pool

In a swimming race, everything can change in a thousandth of a second. For an athlete, that moment is simply a touch. For an official, it is the moment the correct decision is made. For the spectators in the stands, it is the few seconds spent waiting to see the result… Yet, behind those few seconds lies a system that must function flawlessly. At Erben Kontrol Sistemleri, we have implemented timing, race management, and scoreboard systems at the Mehmet Akif Ersoy Full Olympic Swimming Pool in Trabzon. For this 10-lane facility, we established the complete timing infrastructure required from the start to the finish of a race, incorporating FINA-approved touch pads, starting blocks equipped with false-start sensors, a starting system, manual buttons for officials, and lane connection units. To ensure race results are relayed to the stands in real time, we installed a P5 LED scoreboard measuring 6.72 × 3.84 meters (25.80 m²). At the heart of all these systems lies a single objective: To measure an athlete’s performance accurately and at the precise moment it occurs. Because in professional sports, time is not merely a measurement. Time is the result. At Erben Kontrol Sistemleri, we continue to bridge the gap between technology and the precision required in sports through our timing and scoreboard solutions for athletic facilities.
